If you have a network printer/copier, you should be able to scan to your computer also!
In Windows 7 and 8, there is an application called "Windows Fax and Scan" where you can use to scan documents. Please note that this is not installed in RDS but is in your local desktop.
1. Click on your "Start" or "Windows" button and type in "windows fax and scan" and hit enter
2. Place your document in the scanner
3. Click "New Scan"
4. Make sure in "Scanner" you are selecting is the scanner in your office, i.e. "MFC-7360N"
5. Check the "Source". Make sure your document is in the flatbed of the scanner or at the top in the feeder.
6. Click "Scan"
7. The default location of the scanned file is located in folders "Documents" -> "Scanned documents"
8. By default it will be saved as "Image (#)"
Now that you have your scanned document in your computer, you may do whatever you wish with the file!
